Computer Science has initiated a technological revolution in the world. This digital revolution has changed everyone’s lives, to the extent that livelihood processes would seldom function without the use of digital platforms/computers/internet. My interest to pursue higher education in the discipline stems from my academic background, extra-curricular ventures and of course, my own passion for learning about computers. I have always been fascinated with such emerging technologies, and always dreamt about working in the field to contribute something meaningful or innovative.
In the year ……… I passed out from …….. School in ….. with a CGPA of …. I then went on to …….. Junior College, where I scored …. in my 12th grade exams in the year …… In ……… I graduated from …. College of Engineering and Technology with a CGPA of….. in Computer Science Engineering.This lays down the foundation for my higher studies, as it intertwines with my interest as well as my academic experiences. I also have the experience of using coding languages, details of which I have shared underneath. I have also been fond of computers throughout my life. The first time I used one, I instantly knew that there was a drive in me to learn more about such technologies. Hence, I chose this path.
The United States is spearheading the IT revolution. This country is definitely the foremost place to pursue higher studies in Computer Science Education. Firstly, the digital revolution began there. Giants in the field, ranging from Apple to Microsoft and Google have started from the States. The educational provisions are extraordinary and globally renowned. Furthermore, one would be able to enjoy the opportunity of visiting places, like Silicon Valley, and experience the pace of innovation in person. These are some of my reasons why I want to study in the USA. The aforementioned university further adds to my interest, as I was instantly drawn by its course-structure and faculty. I have gathered enough information from primary and secondary sources to confirm my choice of studying in a globally acknowledged university, like the one mentioned here.
I have studied all necessary subjects during my graduation-period, wherein I have gathered the basic knowledge-base and skill-set required for the discipline. I have also completed diploma courses in Python for a Data Science workshop and received a certificate for the same. I was also awarded with a …. participation certificate. I completed a project on …………. Detection based on Machine Learning. This indulgence further improved my practical skill-set.
I participated as a ……. Volunteer in College, working as a core member. I conducted a Python Workshop in college as a head volunteer too. One of my major experiences was participating in Google Devfest, 2023. It was major in the sense that I got to witness various technologies, conversed with professionals, understood various dynamic structures and gained valuable insights regarding the industry. Other experiences include leading a dance team in my college’s annual-day function and participating in several other dance competitions. I also participated in the inter-school chess competitions.I gathered significant leadership and community experiences working as a NSS volunteer in college. Working with people from diverse backgrounds taught me the importance of inclusivity and acceptance of diversity in society. Furthermore, community-building efforts are necessary for the undisputed functioning of society.I also value knowledge and the impact of actions over words/texts. In other words, I believe a fair percentage of practical effort is required alongwith the stringent articulation of concepts/words/theories, for maximum productivity or benefit.
The IT industry of India has been growing rapidly. In 2022, the IT industry’s revenue touched US$ … billion, a ….. growth.Every firm or organization is on the lookout for professionals, like cyber analysts, stack developers, software engineers, networking/outreach managers and so on. I personally want to practice software engineering and explore the world of robotics, as it is simply too fascinating to ignore. Nonetheless, the range of opportunities in this field is vast.
