Respected Sir/Madam,

It gives me immense pleasure to state that I have been accepted at Deakin University, for their Bachelor of Software Engineering course. I have already paid 18200 AUD as the first-semester fees. I am in need of a student visa so that I can travel and start attending my classes. I have also elaborated my academic and professional details underneath, simultaneously reflecting my interest and knowledge required to pursue higher studies in the aforementioned course. So, I request you to grant me a student visa so that I may take the next step to fulfill my academic aspirations.

Academics

After having graduated I have been preparing myself to pursue higher studies in the aforementioned discipline. My background is in Computer Science education, so this particular course aligns well with my interest, as well as my former academic ventures/experience.

How this course is related to my past studies

Apart from being a graduate in Computer Science and Engineering, I have indulged in projects in Machine Learning and Database Management Systems. Whilst indulging in such projects, I was significantly able to hone my knowledge-base and skill-set pertaining towards Computer Science education. I believe my former experience equips me well to pursue and excel in the course of Software Engineering, wherein I can do more than merely adhering to the knowledge that is currently present. I worked for innovation previously and I shall inevitably do it again after graduating from an esteemed university.

Why this University?

Deakin University is a beacon of education excellence. Employers worldwide prefer graduates from such places/institutions because students seemingly develop unique skills and acquire profound knowledge about subjects/topics. I got interested in knowing how practically oriented its course-structure is, along with the expertise of faculty that I have heard of. I have gathered such information from both primary (alumni) and secondary (internet) sources.

Why Australia?

I want to study in Australia because of its educational provisions. It has world-class facilities and the learning environment is preferably transparent, as far as I have learned from my sources. It is a great opportunity that I cannot miss. Moreover, traveling abroad will open my sense of self towards new cultures, people, communities and so on.

Financials

I have already paid the first semester fees, wherein …% of the amount was acquired through scholarship. My father will fund my studies abroad. Our family is well-settled, with our own property and decent livelihood. There isn’t any such hindrance in financial aspects.

Reasons for coming back to India

My reason for returning back to India is family and work. I wish to help my father in his business venture and look after my mother as well. Moreover, I want to get employed in India’s IT sector, as it is growing remarkably. Adding towards my home country’s wheel of progress has always been a long-standing dream of mine.

Why I am not studying a similar course in India

Studying abroad has its own perks. The most important one is the preference of employers. In other words, employers prefer students who possess a foreign degree, from a notable university. Deakin University is known for its massive reputation, so it would be fairly easy for me to get a job back here, with a higher pay-scale and respectable post.

Career opportunities in India after the course

Judging from the pace of India’s digital revolution, the vastness of career opportunities must be acknowledged. As a software engineer I can apply for several posts in a variety of firms, since every sector has shifted to digital platforms regarding expansion/networking purposes.
