I was born in a small village named Lingasamudram where most of the people don’t get higher education. I completed my schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, which is a central government funded school especially for the meritorious students from underprivileged sections.
I firmly believe that my rural upbringing will be an invaluable asset. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge acquired through my rural experiences, such as a familiarity with the natural environment, an understanding of the importance of resourcefulness, and an appreciation for the value of hard work. I am confident that this background will be of great benefit as I am well-equipped to contribute to the academic and professional atmosphere in meaningful ways.
Compared to others in my community, I am glad to say that I have had a relatively good life. My father has some small business related to logistics and my mother is a homemaker. Withstanding all challenges, I managed to acquire bachelor degree in computer science engineering and started working in renowned companies. I have over 6+ years of experience in IT industry and 4+ years into Appian. I am fortunate enough to plan to study abroad and acquire the latest global knowledge.
I believe a human being is made up not only of flesh and blood but also by the surroundings he grew up in, what he learnt from others, the cultural influences and his own personal efforts to acquire knowledge. I am lucky enough to have been taught about rich heritage and I have made efforts to know more and make myself a well-rounded personality.
I used to represent my school in the national level. Besides, I also play football and basketball. During my college, we used to visit the nearby slum areas and teach the underprivileged children. I am sure I will take part in numerous activities at the university where I would study and contribute through diversity of views, ideas and excellence in the pursuit of excellence.
As a student with rural background, I am more accustomed to being able to adapt to different situations, which can be a great asset in any place. Rural communities tend to be very close-knit, with neighbors helping each other out and looking out for one another. This can create a strong sense of community and belonging. My diverse background and experience will add to the richness of the university and I look forward to make a meaningful contribution to the global technology industry enriched with diversity.
