Statement of purpose for MSC in Business Management
I have completed my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing from………………., affiliated with …………………….. and now I am planning to pursue an MSc in Management (Business). In the following, I have summarised my educational background, work experience, reasons for choosing Ireland, motivation for higher education, and areas of interest. To obtain an in-depth understanding and specialised knowledge in my areas of interest, I applied for this master’s.
Coming to my academics, I have completed my 10th standard from ………………….. and after that, I have completed my intermediate (2 years) in the BiPC stream from ……………… 2010. Next, I completed my Bachelor’s in nursing from …………of Health Sciences and passed out in 2014 with ………….I have striven to develop a clear understanding of the basics and acquire insight into the area I chose. After completing my education, I got hired through campus recruitment by the Indo-American Cancer Institute and Research Organisation as a probationary staff nurse. Later, I moved to Gleneagles Global Hospitals as a registered staff nurse, and in the subsequent years, I was promoted to nursing manager and clinical coordinator for education and quality. Next, I moved to Optum, Inc. as a healthcare quality auditor.
For the past seven years I have been in various jobs with different kinds of responsibilities. Everything leads into leadership and business management: collaborating within and across organisational teams to build relationships, demonstrating self-management, and acting ethically. The work experience in the management field has driven me to the thought of pursuing my business master’s in Ireland.

The MSc in Business Management will give me the skills and insight needed for a successful business career in a variety of different industry sectors, as well as the qualifications and confidence to lift me above other candidates in the job market. The MSc in Business Management provides a solid grounding across all the main business disciplines. Due to my interest in becoming a successful and more effective team player in my business career, I have chosen this course.
This will undoubtedly provide me with the right knowledge, skills, and experience to pursue that dream and fully exploit the opportunities. I am confident my exposure to such initiatives would quite substantially augment my knowledge base and add tremendous value in enabling me to realise my professional goals.

Future plans:
If I get an opportunity to work in Ireland, I will utilise the opportunity of a post-study work permit offered by the Irish government for international students, and I will work for a healthcare company, as it gives me exposure. Companies like UDG Healthcare, Uniphar, Kneat.com, Oneview Healthcare, etc. Then, I will return to my country, and the experiences of Ireland will be a valuable addition to my CV to find a suitable job offer in India. Ireland’s education is famous for its practical approach to the subject along with its theoretical knowledge. I can make myself compatible with today’s challenging industry by enhancing my competencies. Finally, I can establish my own business.
