In this era of globalization and digitization, a new language has been gaining immense relevance under the context of innovation and progress. It is the language of computers and web-development. Programs, coding languages and computer-applications are now at the fore-front of every developmental process regarding businesses, private-public sectors, organizations/institutions and so on. The present scenario of anthropocentric development makes it vividly clear that a profession in the field of IT and Computer Science is of utmost significance. Bearing these facets in mind, I have developed a keen interest to pursue higher studies in Computer Science Education and establish a career in the same. My interest also stems from my academic track-record and indulgence in projects, ones that I shall elaborate underneath.
Apart from the growing significance of the discipline that I have hitherto mentioned, my academic ventures reflect my interest to pursue higher studies in the aforementioned discipline. This includes the projects that I have been a part of, my experience in coding and web development, and of course my experience in working at an active-workplace, as an expert in Python. With such experiences, I believe higher education in the discipline from a notable university/institution would allow me to grow significantly and hone my potential.
The USA is where the inception of the digital revolution took place. Tech-giants like Apple, Microsoft, Google, IBM and many more have globalized themselves incredibly. The country provides students the opportunity of visiting the sites of emergence, where one may learn about the expansion/growth of tech-firms that established themselves. Furthermore, one would be able to visit important sites, like the Silicon Valley, and witness the pace of innovation/development in person. These are traits that become exclusive for students studying in the USA, making the country altogether unique, to pursue Computer Science Education.
I have researched quite a lot on universities, and I developed a growing interest in this particular one based on its course structure and existent faculty. I must say, it is quite practically-oriented, which means I would be able to simultaneously test my skills as I comprehend and inherit knowledge during classes. I learned about the faculty’s reputation from their alumni and about the education facilities from secondary sources (internet, online blogs, etc). It adequately suffices my academic needs as an aspiring student.
I have done a project on Image Based Calories Prediction using YOLO-V5. It was one of my initial-practical tests of my skill-set, where I was able to self-reflect on my performance. The eventual results ended up to be quite promising.
I have the experience of working in active-work environments. One was when I interned at Tata Elxsi. The other was at the same company itself, where I joined after completing my internship, working on ADAS data restimulation project, using the language Python. I have also gathered leadership and community experiences in school itself, when teachers would allot me certain tasks of responsibility and management. I took part in the organization of some functions/programs in our neighborhood too. Wherein, I was taught the valuable lessons of community-building values, inclusive ideologies and collective efforts in society.
Throughout all such endeavors and experiences, I have formed a value-base of inclusive thoughts and ideas about sustainable progress. I believe there isn’t any end to the process of learning either. With that in mind, I shall strive to keep exploring newer technologies, ideas and concepts (both fanciful and utilitarian) to potentially bring out unrealized understandings of concepts that have already brought us ahead as a civilization.
I wish to establish a career in the IT field, as a renowned web developer equipped with global education, providing firms and companies the edge in digital services that address the benefit of the respective company, along with the well-being of our society.
The Indian IT industry needs professionals who are globally trained. It is one of the country’s most important economic sectors, having a substantial impact on the overall development of the economy. It is estimated that the sector currently employs 3.7 million people, with the industry contributing around $200 billion to the Indian economy in the last financial year making it one of the top contributors of foreign exchange for the country. The industry has grown at an impressive rate over the last few years, and is expected to continue to grow exponentially in the years to come. India is a leader in the global IT industry, with some of the world’s largest IT companies based in the country. This industry is playing a key role in India’s emergence as a digital powerhouse, with the growth of the Indian IT sector projected to reach new heights in 2020.
Seeing that India itself is an emerging ladder in IT infrastructure and data-intensive economy, I wish to devote myself in the aforementioned discipline, to learn profoundly and contribute towards the holistic development of our sector as per international standard. My education in the United States will be an asset.
