We live in a technologically evolved world where a variety of untapped potential have been created by advances in Computer Science and IT procedures. It is clear that every industry and organization has made significant efforts to establish a presence on digital platforms, in order to communicate with the entire world’s population. Being an enthusiast in Computer Science, I’ve grown passionate about pursuing further education in the field in order to comprehend and make a substantial contribution to the digital revolution. My academic endeavors and experiences shall reflect my intent and purpose to pursue higher education in the aforementioned discipline, ones that are elaborated underneath.
I obtained my first official certification of studying the aforementioned discipline after I finished graduation in Computer Science. This provides me with the first reason to pursue higher education in the discipline. Secondly, due to the increasing demand for digital solutions and predictive business models, there is a considerable demand for IT specialists/professionals across all industries. Everywhere, computer-aided design and technology are chosen since digital platforms are now necessary for successful growth. As a result, I think it would be preferable for me to further explore Computer Science Education, given its increased necessity and expanding relevance on a global scale.
The USA is clearly the finest country to pursue education in the aforementioned discipline, given that the establishment of Silicon Valley and rise of globalized tech-giants both occurred there. The digital revolution has been propelled by companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and others to the point where it is now virtually difficult to render processes without IT solutions. I would have the unique opportunity to visit these locations while I study in the US, learning about their history and the type of innovation that is presently occurring in the industry. Also, I have gathered pertinent details regarding this specific university. Understanding how practically oriented its course structure is, as well as the fact that field-based projects are permitted and the staff is well-equipped, has convinced me that this nation and the university is the best option.
During my graduation, I indulged in small-level projects for the fulfillment of my course, where I was taught about computer programs, language, web development and the usage of specified tools for the development of convenient technologies. Languages include Java, C, C++ and Python. I also studied every subject required to hone my knowledge-base, as well as skill-set, pertaining towards the fundamentals of the aforementioned discipline. My notable experiences and achievements are in athletics, where I won the senior softball district championship and was awarded a certificate in Okinawa Martial Arts.
I have always valued engaging in cultural pursuits/programs. I routinely helped with the planning of cultural events that my school and college presented. Together with getting to know new people and loving my job, this experience taught me important lessons about cooperation, leadership, unity, responsibility, and humility. These are the values I want to live by in the future.
I always enjoy learning about new technologies. I value strict standards for what knowledge is worth. In other words, I will never stop researching and learning because I believe there isn’t an end to the process of learning or inheriting knowledge. So, to state that we have finished studying something would be inaccurate. Instead, we must continue to learn in order to keep innovation and sustainable advancement a growing process.
It is quite evident that I go forward to establish myself in the field of Computer Science, with a renowned position and acknowledged presence, as my native country (India) is also becoming one of the global leaders in IT infrastructure. India is now the second-largest IT services provider in the world and the third-largest software exporter. The growth of the IT sector has made it one of the most attractive job markets in India.
The IT sector in India is estimated to be worth around $154 billion and is expected to grow at a rate of 13 percent annually. It is estimated that the sector will employ around 11 million people by 2025. The growth of the IT sector has opened up numerous career opportunities for internationally trained professionals. There is a huge demand for software developers, software engineers, web designers, data scientists, and other IT professionals. With the right skills and qualifications, professionals in the IT sector can easily find jobs in both public and private sectors.
With the growth of the IT sector in India, there has also been an increase in the number of IT startups and new companies. This has created more job opportunities for talented professionals. In addition, the emergence of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and the Internet of Things (IoT) has also created a lot of career opportunities. As a computer science expert, I aspire to become more knowledgeable and to make a significant contribution to fields that urgently require help. I hope to give these fields an advantage in decision-making by building predictive models and addressing more general problems that are present in both social and ecological contexts.
